Thoughts about Graduation

ABITUR! This is the German word for diploma. After 13 years of school we finally graduated. Of course we had a big celebration called Abiturball. And yes I just uploaded a lot of pictures of that event. During the Abiturball I held a small speech about the passed 13 years and about our future. I just want to upload this speech here, so everybody can read it:

13 Jahre ist es jetzt her: Die Lese-Fibel, das Schönschreiben, Poesiealben und viiiel Freizeit.

My English teacher asked us to write a speech, which we would hold on our Graduation… Of course I loved this idea, and made many people think about the passed years… As it was written as a speech I marked some stressing’s, I used while speaking.

Graduates, at first I want to ask you something: How do you feel? I mean, we’ve been together for seven years — about half of our life’s so far. We went through happy times and through not that happy times. How do you feel?

We met as strangers and leave as friends …
